Sri Lanka’s flyover experience
The Government has given high priority to infrastructure development in Sri Lanka. City planners across the country however have a big role in ensuring that it is measured in terms of long term sustainability. A look at a problem faced by those commuting to and within Colombo on a daily basis–traffic jams, and examine whether or not appropriate measures have been taken to address the situation.

The LLRC – towards implementation?
On the 26th of July the National Action Plan of the Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission through a committee headed by Lalith Weerathunge, Secretary to the President, was made available to the public-with an activity, timeframe, key responsible agency and key performance indicator for each recommendation. Here’s a short report on news and views surrounding the LLRC and it’s implementation.
